• The Park District reserves the right to cancel classes and make changes in the schedule and fees. .

Registration Deadline
After the registration deadline the Park District will determine if the class will be held or cancelled. Once this decision is made we will continue accepting registrations until the class or league is full, or the league has begun.

Definition of Residency
If your permanent resident address is within the Byron Park District boundaries, you will be charged the resident rate. Proof of residency, such as a driver’s license, rental lease, voter’s registration, or tax-statement may be required..

Program Distractions
Our staff has found the quality of instruction is affected by sibling and parent distractions. With your child’s interest in mind we discourage you from bringing siblings to the class. If you must bring their sibling to the class please keep an eye on the child and do not allow them to run around the facility or to disrupt class. We also ask that parents silently observe the class or program, and save questions/comments until the end of class.

Waiting List
Many of our classes have registration limits. Because of facility space and staff limitations, we cannot always guarantee that we will have space for everyone. The Park District maintains waiting lists for classes that have reached their maximum capacity and encourages everyone to be placed on a waiting list. Every attempt will be made to accomodate you by expanding the original class, creating a new class, or replacing persons who cancelled out of the class. No payment will be made if you are placed on the waiting list. Once space in the class is created, you will be notified, and the registration can be completed..

On occasion, the Park District staff may take photos of participants enrolled in Park District programs, classes and events or people on Park District properties and/or parks. Please be aware that these photos are for Park District use only and may be used in future catalogs, brochures, web site, pamphlets, fliers or displays.
