|For non-office hours: Drop box located in front of our main office outside. Place registration form in a sealed envelope with your payment (no cash please) and deposit into the drop box.
|Please note that we no longer accept phone-in registration. Use the registration form available on the website. We cannot confirm receipt
of faxes, so be sure to print a confirmation from your fax for your
|records. Submission of registration
does not guarantee enrollment in a program. You will be notified if your registration can not be
processed (i.e. class is full).
Make checks payable to Byron Park District. There is a $15 charge for checks returned NSF. The service fee (if applicable), plus the cost of the program must be paid in cash before continuing any program from the Park District.
Credit Card charges are available for online, mail-in, fax, drop-off and in person registrations.
All registration forms need signatures for credit card charges and the waiver.
Register Early! All program registration fees must be paid at the time of registration. Program participation will only be allowed once a signed waiver and fee have been collected. Registration is not accepted by instructors. Your statement or check is your receipt. If you would like a registration confirmation, please provide your email address. We do not contact you if you get in a class but will generally email you with a receipt if we have your email address. However, we will contact you if you do not get in a program or if the class is cancelled to see how we can assist you further.
Youth...............A child 8th grade & younger
High School......A child 9th through 12th grade
Adult................An individual 18 thorugh 61 years Senior............. An individual 62 years & older Family.............Any combination of the following:
|Mother, father, sons, and daughters living in the same household. The children should either be born of one or both parents or adopted. The husband and wife must be designated the legal guardians of the children living in the home.
|All programs have a minimum and maximum enrollment number and will be filled on a first come, first served basis.
The Park District may cancel, postpone, combine classes, or change instructors. Programs may be cancelled due to insufficient enrollment.
The Park District reserves the right to cancel programs and make changes in the schedule and fees.
|After the registration deadline, the Park District will determine if the program will be held or cancelled. Once the decision is made, we may continue|
| accepting registrations until the program or league is full, or the league has begun. |
Please note: There will be a $10 late fee charged on all registrations received after the deadline.
Definition of Residency
|If your permanent resident address is within the Byron Park District boundaries, you will be charged the resident rate. Proof of residency,such as a driver’s license, rental lease, voter’s registration, or tax statement, maybe required.
All praticipants in our programs, leagues, classes and trips will be required to sign a participation waiver. Parents or guardians must sign for children under 18 years of age.
|Many of our programs have registration limits. Due to facility space and staff limitations, we cannot always guarantee that we will have space for everyone. The Park District maintains waiting lists for programs that have reached their maximum capacity and encourages everyone to be placed on a waiting list. If possible, every attempt will be made to accommodate you by either expanding the original program, creating a new program, or replacing individuals who cancelled out of the program. No payment will be made if you are placed on the waiting list. Once space in the program is created, you will be notified, and the registration can be completed.
Before the first day of the program - A $5 processing fee will be deducted from all refunds except when a medical excuse is presented in writing. If a program is cancelled by the Park District, participants will receive a full refund.
After the start of the program - Refunds requested after the start of a program are not typically provided, however determinations will be made on a case to case basis.
Trips - A refund will only be given for trips if money has not been committed for tickets, bus, etc., or the seat can be filled from a waiting list.
Summer Camp, Tiger Den & Fun Zone - These programs have their own cancellation/refund policies. Please refer to the parent handbook, available on-line, for more information.
