PE Center Guidelines

The PE Center track and courts
are available for use by persons 10 years and older. Children 9
years and under must be supervised by an adult.

The PE Center fitness areas (free weight and machine rooms)
are only available for persons in H.S. or older.

Outside shoes are not to be worn in the PE Center.

The Park District is not responsible for lost or stolen items.
Please bring your own lock to use in the locker rooms.

Strollers are only allowed on the PE Center track on weekdays
between the hours of 5 a.m. - 3 p.m. and weekends depending on
the amount of patrons.

No Personal Trainers are allowed to utilize the facility to
train individuals without the expressed written approval of the
Byron Park District.

Patrons of the Park District are asked to please not bring
children with them for activities such as aerobic classes,
weight training, walking/jogging, basketball leagues, wallyball
leagues, etc.

When you are participating, your child is
unsupervised and may pose a safety problem for themselves or
others.
Weight Room Orientations All new patrons and current patrons, who would like an
orientation to the weight room equipment can sign-up for an
appointment through the Park District registration office or
weight room supervisor.
Scan Passes

All passes are Photo ID Passes that MUST be scanned at the
Park District registration office.

Former Senior passes will be honored, but patrons have the
option of receiving a new Photo ID Scan card.
Check-in Procedures

All Park District patrons paying daily
rates or using punch cards must sign a waiver form and pay
or have their card punched at the Park District registration
office.

All Park District patrons with Photo ID Scan
cards, must scan their cards at the Park District
Registration office.

All racquetball and wallyball patrons must
receive and return court keys and wallyballs to the Park
District Registration office. Please note that you must
leave a driver’s license or other form of ID with the Park
District in order to obtain a court key.

All swimming pool patrons will need to
check-in at the Park District Registration office. All pool
patrons will then receive an admission pass that must be
given to the lifeguard on duty.

If you forgot your scan card, you must pay
the daily fee. A $5 fee will be charged to replace lost or
destroyed scan cards.
