Over a course of about 7 months of analyzing information and attaining feedback from the community groups and individuals the Master Plan was approved by the Board of Commissioners in July 2014. 2012 Community Survey / Strategic Plan
As part of the Park Districts development of a Strategic Plan, we conducted a community survey in September 2012 which was mailed to random households in the city, available on-line, and posted at our main office. The input received from the survey was very valuable to us for future planning and implementation of quality services for the Byron area. We want to thank everyone who participated and for taking the time to complete it and return it to us.
The results from the survey as well as information attained at community meetings and internal consultations provided the Park District the components to establish our Strategic Plan. On December 18, 2012 the Strategic Plan was approved and adopted at the Board of Commissioners regular meeting. We thank you for your support and participation. If you have any questions, please contact the Executive Director at 815-234-5491 x232. To see a copy of the Strategic Plan, please click on the following link. Strategic Plan
